DRAGON QUEST TREASURES invites players into the vibrant world of Draconia, a mysterious land made up of six floating islands formed from the remains of two ancient Golden Dragons. Players follow the journey of siblings Erik and Mia, who dream of exploring the world in search of legendary treasures. Their adventure truly begins when they encounter two magical creatures, Porcus and Purrsula, who transport them to Draconia—a place teeming with monsters to befriend and hidden riches to uncover. As they explore diverse biomes ranging from volcanic mountains to frozen wastelands, players engage in treasure hunting that blends exploration, strategy, and monster companionship. The core gameplay centers around building and managing a treasure-hunting gang, with Erik and Mia at the helm. Players recruit monsters using special “Dragon Daggers,” each creature possessing unique abilities called “Fortes” that help overcome environmental obstacles and access hard-to-reach loot. Progression is tied to the gang’s treasure vault; collecting valuable items increases the gang’s rank, unlocking new skills and upgrades for their base of operations. However, rival treasure-hunting crews pose constant threats, challenging players through ambushes in the field and raids on their base, adding an element of competitive tension.
