Kong: Survivor Instinct is a 2.5D action-adventure game set in a city devastated by a sudden Titan attack, where players step into the shoes of David, an oil rig worker determined to rescue his daughter Stacy amidst the chaos. As towering monsters clash and buildings crumble, you navigate a hazardous urban landscape filled with collapsing structures, toxic leaks, and raging fires. The game blends realistic platforming with challenging combat and metroidvania-style exploration, requiring players to scavenge for weapons, tools, and resources to survive both environmental dangers and hostile encounters with mercenaries and other enemies. The story unfolds shortly after the events of Godzilla vs. Kong, featuring an official Monsterverse narrative that introduces familiar and new superspecies, including the majestic Kong and the menacing Abaddon. Players must strategically use Monarch-inspired technology, specifically the ORCA Σ prototype, to influence Titan behavior and turn their immense power to their advantage.
