The Long Dark is a thoughtful, exploration-survival experience that challenges solo players to think for themselves as they explore an expansive frozen wilderness. There are no zombies — only you, the cold, and everything Mother Nature can throw at you. By far the best survival game out there when it comes to actually surviving. The struggle to survive is ever present and very realistic. The pure, simplistic yet detailed environments are incredibly relaxing.

Once The Long Dark is done downloading, right click on the torrent and select “Open Containing Folder”.
Double click inside the The Long Dark folder, extract the .iso with WinRAR, and run the setup.
Click “Copy contents of PLAZA directory to installdir” and then click install. Wait for the game to install. Be sure to disable any form of anti virus so no files get corrupted.
Once complete, launch the game, have fun and play. If you encounter any problems, run the game as administrator and be sure to update your video drivers and have DirectX installed which you can get here.
