Game Overview
Surviving Ceres is a sci-fi survival and base-building game set on the icy dwarf planet Ceres, where players must endure a harsh and unforgiving environment to establish a thriving human colony. Starting alone, you gather resources, craft essential tools, and construct machines, farms, and facilities to secure your foothold on the planet. The game’s modular building system caters to all playstyles, allowing newcomers to easily assemble their base while giving creative players the freedom to customize with decorations and varied glass options. Automation plays a key role in progression, as players can build drills to extract materials from deep deposits, reducing repetitive manual gathering and streamlining resource management. As your colony grows, you can export rare materials and manufactured goods back to Earth for funding, which unlocks new technologies and upgrades. This funding also enables importing supplies to supplement your resources. Once your base is established with specialized modules like barracks and recreation rooms, you can call in colonists to expand your workforce. These colonists operate advanced facilities that produce complex goods, generate power, and defend against hostile alien creatures. Terraforming is a major gameplay element, gradually transforming Ceres’ icy landscape and unlocking new areas and materials necessary for further development. However, this progress attracts alien threats that require strategic defense and offensive expeditions to secure your colony’s future. With leaderboards tracking efficiency and speed, Surviving Ceres challenges players to expertly manage resources, growth, and combat in a quest to make the dwarf planet habitable for humanity.
