However, pushing these enhancements too far risks causing abomination illness, which weakens your creatures and shortens their lifespan, adding a strategic layer to your breeding decisions. Combat in "The Monster Breeder" takes place in diverse arenas where your monsters, supported by hired warriors, archers, and mages, face off in battles that are not always lethal, although non-lethal fights offer smaller rewards. Each arena’s unique environment presents tactical challenges that require careful planning and specialized equipment to overcome. Beyond the arena, you manage your base by hiring skilled blacksmiths and alchemists, upgrading facilities, and balancing finances, with the option to take loans that come with steep interest.
