Frontiers Reach is a retro-futuristic space combat game set in the year 2230, where humanity faces an impending war between two powerful factions: the aging Sol Confederacy and the rising Frontier Republic. Against this backdrop of interstellar conflict, players take on the role of Captain Anya Zuban and her First Mate Rhen Malavik, who prepare their starfighter, the Heliosiren, to lead a group of survivors into uncharted space, seeking refuge on a remote moon known as Frontiers Reach. The game’s narrative unfolds across more than 30 locations, including planets and deep space environments, immersing players in a tense and dynamic struggle for control over the frontier. Gameplay in Frontiers Reach centers around piloting customizable starfighters, each offering unique roles and capabilities. Players can tailor their ships with a variety of weapons, modules, and cosmetic options, allowing for diverse combat strategies. The game features over 32 story missions and 15 side missions, supplemented by a dynamic warmap with thousands of possible scenario variations, providing a rich and varied experience. Drawing inspiration from Cold War-era aesthetics and retro-futuristic art styles like Atompunk and Cassette Futurism, Frontiers Reach combines a distinctive visual identity with a military sci-fi narrative.
