Game Overview
Monolith places you in the role of Tessa, a space explorer working for the Intergalactic Mining Corporation who finds herself stranded on a desolate and mysterious planet after a mission gone wrong. With little memory of her objective and a damaged ship that offers limited shelter, Tessa’s only companion is a small analysis robot named C.O.R.E., equipped with a handful of helpful functions. As she navigates this harsh environment, her primary goal becomes survival and escape, relying on her wits and the resources she can find in an alien landscape that seems abandoned but hides unsettling secrets. The game unfolds across 50 hand-drawn locations, ranging from rocky outcrops to swampy terrain and an old mining station that hints at the planet’s hidden past. Exploration and puzzle-solving form the core gameplay, with players using the mouse to examine objects, combine items, and interact with machinery to progress. The story is delivered through a rich, atmospheric experience enhanced by fully voiced dialogue in both English and German, three-dimensional characters, and motion-captured animations. With an estimated playtime of seven to nine hours, Monolith offers a suspenseful and emotional adventure that challenges players to uncover the truth behind Tessa’s predicament while striving to survive in an unforgiving world. The game comes from the creators of the Secret Files and Lost Horizon series, known for their engaging narrative-driven experiences.
