Hourglass

Shattered Hourglass is a turn-based JRPG that blends a richly woven narrative with deep strategic gameplay, offering players the freedom to shape their own story through meaningful choices. Set in the peaceful mage town of Habon, the game centers around the rare and powerful Time Mages—individuals who can alter the course of fate itself. Viewed as threats by a relentless Mage Slayer, these mages face an uncertain future where every decision carries consequences, challenging players to either resist or succumb to their destiny. The story unfolds through four distinct routes, with over 10 different endings available, encouraging multiple playthroughs to explore the full scope of the world and its characters. Players lead a party of up to five members, choosing from nine permanent and six temporary characters, each with unique job classes and skills that can be developed through leveling and progression. This system unlocks new abilities and roles, allowing for varied combat strategies against more than 60 challenging bosses scattered throughout the game’s 40+ hours of content. Beyond the main storyline, Shattered Hourglass offers a wealth of optional activities, including dungeons, side quests, bounty missions, puzzles, and an extensive fishing system with 48 unique species to catch. Players can also engage in arena battles to earn rewards, upgrade their housing with decorations and crops, and keep track of their evolving journey through a Karma System that records the impact of critical choices. With its blend of time-bending narrative, strategic party management, and expansive world, Shattered Hourglass invites players to explore fate’s fragile balance and carve their own path through a dynamic and immersive RPG experience.
