Game Overview
Haunt Chaser is a cooperative horror game set in an eerie, abandoned orphanage within a deserted village, where players take on the role of Chasers tasked with freeing the tormented spirits of children and banishing the malevolent force haunting the area. The game can be played solo or with up to four players working together, each utilizing a variety of specialized hunting equipment such as spectral cameras, EMF readers, parabolic microphones, and magical wards to investigate the environment, uncover hidden truths, and confront supernatural threats. The tension builds as Chasers must carefully navigate the haunted grounds, using their tools not only to reveal clues and collect necessary items but also to evade or temporarily repel the dark entity stalking them. Cooperation among players can make the mission easier, but those who choose to go it alone face a more intense challenge, with no escape possible until the evil is fully banished. In addition to the main co-op mode, Haunt Chaser features a 4v1 party mode where one player controls the paranormal entity, wielding abilities like teleportation, invisibility, and bursts of speed to hunt the Chasers. This mode offers customizable settings that allow players to adjust skill cooldowns, revive counts, and other gameplay elements, tailoring the difficulty and experience to their liking. Randomized item locations and dynamic events ensure that each playthrough unfolds differently, keeping the suspense fresh and unpredictable. With multiple AI difficulty levels ranging from Very Easy to Insane, Haunt Chaser challenges players to survive and solve the dark mysteries hidden within the village, making every session a unique and chilling encounter.
