Game Overview
EVOTINCTION is a tense, near-future stealth action game set within the confines of HERE, a remote, self-sustained research facility that has fallen victim to a mysterious virus. This infection corrupts the facility’s advanced AI core, turning its once-harmless service robots—nicknamed "Genie"—into hostile threats that relentlessly patrol and coordinate their efforts to eliminate any human presence. Players step into the shoes of Dr. Liu, the facility’s head of R&D and one of the AI system’s original architects. Unlike a typical action hero, Dr. Liu has no combat training and relies entirely on his technical expertise to survive. His mission is to infiltrate the AI-controlled compound, locate any survivors, and uncover the root cause behind the outbreak while navigating increasingly dangerous automated defenses. Gameplay centers around stealth, strategy, and hacking, giving players a unique toolkit to manipulate the environment and enemy behavior rather than relying on brute force. Dr. Liu can disrupt signals, jam communications, implant malware, create holographic illusions, and even rewrite friend-or-foe identifiers to turn hostile robots against each other. As the doctor ventures deeper into the facility, he encounters more sophisticated killer robots engineered to protect the AI core, requiring careful planning and creative use of his gadgets. The narrative unfolds through investigation and exploration, gradually revealing whether the infected AI is solely responsible or if darker secrets lie hidden within the facility’s systems. EVOTINCTION combines atmospheric storytelling with a cerebral approach to survival, emphasizing ingenuity over aggression in a high-tech battle for control and salvation.
