Game Overview
Banners of Ruin is a tactical card-based RPG set in the troubled city of Dawn’s Point, where the once-powerful Blackfoot clan has suffered a devastating blow at the hands of the ruthless House Ender. Players take on the role of a determined group infiltrating enemy territory to dismantle the Enders’ grip on the city. The game combines strategic deck-building with party management, allowing you to assemble a team of up to six unique characters drawn from six different races, each with their own distinct card pools and abilities. As you progress through the city’s dangerous streets, you’ll face a series of challenging encounters and elite opponents, culminating in a confrontation with the city’s Guard Captain. Gameplay focuses heavily on building a versatile deck by looting, purchasing, and unlocking a wide variety of cards that complement your party’s strengths. Characters level up to gain talent cards and powerful passives, enhancing your tactical options and allowing for deep customization. Alongside combat, players navigate a dynamic card-driven campaign where choices carry consequences, sometimes requiring difficult moral decisions that affect the journey. Equipment like weapons and armor adds another layer of strategy, offering unique effects to bolster your team. Even if your efforts end in defeat, progress is persistent, with earned tokens unlocking new cards and abilities to improve future runs. With its blend of strategic combat, rich character progression, and meaningful narrative choices, Banners of Ruin offers a challenging and immersive experience for fans of deck-building and tactical RPGs.
