SLUDGE LIFE 2 plunges players into the vibrant and chaotic world of Ciggy City Suites, a sprawling multi-level hotel filled with quirky characters, hidden secrets, and a distinct blend of corporate monotony and rebellious street art. You take on the role of Ghost, the loyal friend of the missing rapping frog Big Mud, setting out on a mission to track him down while navigating this bizarre environment. The game expands on its predecessor with a much larger open world, featuring three times as many NPCs including eccentric citizens, fellow taggers, and corporate enforcers, each adding depth and personality to the experience. Gameplay revolves around exploring Ciggy City Suites and its surroundings, tagging over a hundred spray paint spots scattered across the area to defy the controlling GLUG corporation. Players gain access to new movement abilities like double jumping and sprinting, as well as gadgets such as a Portable Launcher that lets you launch yourself dramatically into the air, enhancing exploration and freedom of movement. Progression is driven by uncovering the city’s mysteries and interacting with its inhabitants while collecting hidden master tapes that unlock fresh music tracks, including new beats and rhymes from Big Mud himself.
