Game Overview
Pronty is an underwater Metroidvania adventure that plunges players into the mysterious, fallen city of Royla, a once-thriving metropolis now overrun by mutated sea creatures corrupted by toxic waste. You take control of Pronty, an inexperienced protagonist, alongside Bront, a weaponized robotic swordfish resembling a javelin. This unique duo forms the core of the game’s innovative combat system, where Bront can be used to fend off enemies, clear obstacles, and shield Pronty from harm. As you navigate the vibrant yet dangerous underwater environments, you’ll encounter a variety of hostile marine mutants, from smaller foes to massive, intimidating bosses. Defeating these threats is key to uncovering the truth behind the pollution that devastated Royla and restoring hope to the city’s depths. Progression in Pronty revolves around unlocking new abilities and upgrades through the Memory Board, allowing players to customize their combat approach and adapt to different challenges. The game’s art style features clean, colorful line art that brings the underwater world to life, complemented by an immersive soundtrack composed by Paul Su. Beyond the main campaign, players can test their skills in additional modes such as Boss Rush, introduced through post-launch updates, providing ongoing challenges for those seeking to master the game’s mechanics. Overall, Pronty offers a richly atmospheric experience that combines exploration, strategic combat, and storytelling beneath the waves.
