8-Bit Hordes invites players into a vibrant fantasy world where two contrasting factions—the fierce Dark Orcs allied with undead forces and the upbeat Humans, Dwarves, and Elves known as the Lightbringers—clash in fast-paced real-time strategy battles. Designed to be accessible for both newcomers and experienced RTS fans, the game combines classic base-building mechanics with resource management and army-building. Players gather resources, construct their bases, and deploy their armies to outmaneuver and overpower their opponents across a variety of colorful and destructible environments, ranging from eerie cemeteries to haunted forests and underworld landscapes. The game offers a rich assortment of gameplay modes, including a 24-mission offline campaign that explores the conflict between the two factions, as well as 12 cooperative missions to tackle with friends.
