Hubert

In *Hubert*, players step into the paws of a spirited shepherd dog navigating the rugged northern wilderness. This third-person adventure unfolds through the eyes of Hubert, a fluffy and overconfident canine whose world is shaped by instinct, scent, and movement. Tasked with herding a scattered flock of unruly sheep, players must guide their charges across picturesque but challenging landscapes, contending with unpredictable weather, tricky terrain, and the occasional distraction. The game offers a unique blend of storytelling and gameplay, capturing the daily rhythms and challenges of farm life while exploring the bond between Hubert and Lily, a clever young girl who helps him earn the trust of a grumpy local farmer. Their relationship deepens through shared moments and routines, revealing subtle emotional layers as they face the uncertainties of their world together. Beyond the pastoral settings lies a quieter, more mysterious wilderness where something unseen stirs in the woods—a presence that Hubert senses but cannot fully understand. The countryside is rendered in a warm, brush-painted art style that invites exploration but also hints at unease beneath its calm surface. Players experience a heartfelt narrative filled with humor, loyalty, and the occasional misadventure, as Hubert strives to keep his flock in line and stay on the farmer’s good side. With its focus on immersive storytelling, naturalistic animal behavior, and a charmingly imperfect protagonist, *Hubert* offers a distinctive and endearing journey through the trials and joys of life as a working dog.
