Using real-world geographic data, every road, forest, town, and elevation is faithfully represented, allowing you to place artillery on strategic high ground and carefully consider terrain when planning your moves. Instead of issuing micro-level commands, you focus on high-level strategies, drawing multi-step plans directly on the map and watching as your officers and companies carry them out autonomously. This lets you execute complex tactics such as defense in depth, counterattacks, and carefully coordinated withdrawals. The game’s depth extends to its realistic army modeling, where divisions are made up of headquarters, regiments, battalions, and companies, each with their own infantry, tanks, engineers, artillery, and scouts.
