SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream takes players back into the immersive world of ALfheim Online, now enhanced with the new Galaxia system that allows users to relive past events. However, this system malfunctions, causing characters from different points in time and space to become displaced across the virtual world. To restore the timeline, Kirito must join forces with 21 familiar characters from the SAO universe, each bringing unique abilities and roles to the fight against this mysterious anomaly. The game’s story-driven single-player mode offers an original narrative where players experience the challenges of confronting this temporal chaos firsthand. Beyond the solo campaign, Fractured Daydream features robust online multiplayer modes designed to accommodate up to 20 players. In boss raid mode, five teams of four take on massive, formidable bosses that once stood as significant threats to Kirito and his allies. The cooperative quest mode encourages teamwork as separate parties gradually converge to face a final, challenging boss battle. Additionally, a free roam mode allows players to explore expansive maps filled with powerful enemies and hidden treasures, fostering spontaneous interactions and adventures. Even if there aren’t enough players online, NPC allies fill the gaps to ensure full teams, and matchmaking options enable solo players to easily join multiplayer activities.
