Game Overview

Astor: Blade of the Monolith invites players to explore the vibrant and mysterious planet of Gliese, a world once inhabited by an ancient civilization that mysteriously vanished. Now home to the Diokek, sentient beings created by these ancients, Gliese faces a new threat from the destructive Hiltsik creatures. Players take on the role of Astor, a young Diokek warrior on a quest to uncover the secrets behind his creators’ disappearance and to find the legendary Monolith, an ancient structure said to hold immense power. Along the way, Astor must confront a sinister force jeopardizing the planet’s future, navigating diverse landscapes filled with ruins, temples, and hidden relics that piece together Gliese’s lost history. The gameplay blends fast-paced combat with strategic depth, allowing players to master a dynamic arsenal of four unique weapons and a variety of magical abilities fueled by the ancient Runic Swarm energy. Combat encourages fluidity and creativity, enabling weapon switching mid-combo, unleashing devastating charged attacks, and summoning runic constructs like shields and decoys to gain the upper hand. Over 20 hours of story and side quests introduce 16 enemy types and 10 challenging bosses, while puzzles and spirit realm shifts add layers of exploration and discovery. Progression involves learning new combos, unlocking powerful runic skills, and crafting a personalized combat style. With additional challenges and a New Game+ mode, Astor: Blade of the Monolith offers a rich and immersive experience centered on uncovering the fate of the ancients and forging your own destiny as Gliese’s potential savior.
