ATOM RPG: Trudograd is a standalone story expansion set in the post-apocalyptic Soviet Union, continuing the narrative established in the original ATOM RPG. Drawing inspiration from classic cRPGs like early Fallout and Wasteland, the game immerses players in a harsh, nuclear-ravaged world where society has collapsed and technology has regressed to a primitive state. The story picks up two years after the events of the first game, following a rookie ATOM agent who uncovers a looming extraterrestrial threat to the fragile remnants of humanity. Players are tasked with journeying to Trudograd, a sprawling post-apocalyptic megacity that survived nuclear devastation, in search of a potential salvation against this new menace. Gameplay in Trudograd offers a richly detailed open world with more than 40 hours of content spread across over 45 diverse locations, including snowy cityscapes, secret Soviet bunkers, and mysterious islands. Players can create a new character or import their protagonist from the original game, allowing for continuity and deeper roleplaying. The game features tactical turn-based combat with a wide array of enemies, from hostile mutants to ruthless mercenaries, across 30+ dedicated combat zones. Interactive storytelling is supported by over 300 characters with unique portraits and branching dialogues, along with more than 200 quests that offer multiple solutions and outcomes. Customization plays a key role, with an extensive arsenal of over 100 weapons and 75 modifications, as well as three distinct powered exoskeleton suits that can be tailored to fit different playstyles. Fully voiced text quests and hand-crafted artwork further enhance the immersive experience, making ATOM RPG: Trudograd a deep and engaging continuation of the post-apocalyptic saga.
