Game Overview
Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 is a real-time strategy game set in the grimdark universe of Warhammer 40,000, bringing the intense space battles of Games Workshop’s tabletop classic to life on PC. As a full-fledged sequel, it expands significantly on the original game with larger fleets, deeper strategic layers, and more polished gameplay. Players can command any of the 12 factions featured in the original tabletop game and its expansions, including iconic forces such as the Imperial Navy, Space Marines, Adeptus Mechanicus, Necrons, Chaos, Aeldari, T’au, Orks, and Tyranids, each offering unique ships and combat styles. The game’s story unfolds against the backdrop of the Gathering Storm and the 13th Black Crusade, delivering three expansive campaigns focused on the Tyranids, Necrons, and the Imperium. These narrative-driven missions take place in the perilous Eye of Terror and feature well-known characters like Belisarius Cawl and Roboute Guilliman. Beyond the single-player experience, Armada 2 offers enhanced multiplayer modes with improved balance, matchmaking, and cross-platform play, allowing for competitive and cooperative battles across Steam, GOG, and the Windows Store. With extensive ship customization options, refined tactical combat, and a richly detailed universe, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 aims to provide the definitive Warhammer 40,000 space warfare experience for fans and strategy enthusiasts alike.
