Game Overview
Set in the charming village of Palo Pori, "Beastro" invites players into a world where culinary craft and adventure intertwine. The village, known for its artisans and food lovers, faces a growing threat as monsters encroach beyond its protective walls. Players step into the shoes of Panko, a young chef who must take over the local eatery after his mentor disappears. As Panko, you’ll gather fresh ingredients by farming, foraging, and raising animals, building a cozy farm-to-table restaurant that caters to a diverse community. The game emphasizes creativity and care in cooking, with engaging mini-games that challenge you to chop, flip, and sizzle dishes tailored to the tastes of your patrons. Beyond running the restaurant, players support the Caretakers—valiant adventurers who venture into the wilderness to battle the encroaching monsters. Each Caretaker has unique flavor preferences that influence the meals you prepare, which in turn affect their morale and unlock new abilities. The game blends cooking with strategic deck-building combat: the ingredients in your dishes become cards used by the Caretakers in turn-based battles inspired by trick-taking card games. Players must carefully balance flavors and use magical ingredient effects to outwit enemies, all presented through charming puppet theatre-style sequences recounting the adventurers’ exploits. With its blend of cozy cooking simulation, community-building, and tactical combat, "Beastro" offers a fresh take on fantasy adventures where the key to saving the world might just lie in a well-cooked meal.
