Game Overview

Bonesaw is a tense and strategic card-based game set in a dark, supernatural world where players compete to sever their opponents’ fingers and avoid eternal damnation. The goal is straightforward but challenging: eliminate both of your opponent’s hands before they do the same to you. Each hand holds a certain number of fingers, and players take turns attacking, adding finger counts, and playing power cards to gain special abilities that can turn the tide of battle. Adding to the tension is the ominous saw, a dangerous blade that players can activate by ringing a bell during their turn. Once unleashed, the saw moves around the hands in play and can randomly sever fingers, forcing players to carefully weigh risk and reward as they decide whether to provoke its wrath. The game offers a variety of modes, including a gripping single-player experience with three distinct challenges, as well as local multiplayer and online matches via Steam Remote Play, allowing for intense showdowns against friends. Strategy is key, as players must not only focus on their opponent’s hands but also manage a passive skeleton figure on the board. Defeating this skeleton grants a powerful card that can shift momentum. Each finger lost changes the dynamics of the game, making every decision impactful and every round unpredictable. Bonesaw combines skill, strategy, and a bit of luck to create a unique and thrilling contest of nerve and cunning in a macabre setting.
