Born Punk

Born Punk is a cyberpunk thriller set in the year 2155 on Bornholm, an island in the Baltic Sea that has transformed from a quiet locale into a bustling metropolis rivaling global powers. This dramatic rise is fueled by the Space Elevator, a technological marvel constructed by the island’s dominant corporate consortium, The Conglomerate, which has propelled Bornholm into a position of industrial and space exploration influence. The game follows three unlikely allies: Eevi, a former combat hacker turned bartender; Mariposa, the CEO of Bornholm’s largest corporation; and Grandmaster Flashdrive, a malfunctioning android. Each of these characters becomes possessed by mysterious otherworldly entities, forcing them to navigate a complex web of cooperation and conflict as they seek to uncover the origins and intentions of these strange forces that threaten humanity’s future. Born Punk delivers a classic point-and-click adventure experience infused with modern design sensibilities and a distinctive pixel-art style reminiscent of genre classics like Monkey Island and Beneath a Steel Sky. The vibrant, fully animated world is rich with soundscapes and details that bring the city to life, encouraging exploration and discovery. Players engage in puzzles and dialogues that offer multiple approaches, meaning choices have meaningful consequences on interactions, challenges, and story outcomes.
