Catch the Head

Set in the fiery town of Smithston, "Catch the Head" plunges players into a vibrant and mysterious underworld as the new season kicks off. Over the course of six months, your team will face a unique challenge crafted by seven infamous Underworld celebrities who have created intricate stages filled with danger and intrigue. These notorious figures appear as disembodied, talking heads, and your mission is to activate mystical sigils to summon them, then hunt them down across diverse environments. From industrial factories and volcanic landscapes to haunted mansions, medieval castles, and even ships and skies, each location offers distinct challenges and rich atmospheric detail. Gameplay blends action-platforming with puzzle-solving, encouraging players to strategically combine the abilities of their chosen team members. You select three contestants from a roster of seventeen, each belonging to one of three classes: Brawlers, Rangers, or Supporters, allowing for varied playstyles and tactical depth. The game features dynamic camera perspectives that shift between third-person, top-down, and side-scrolling views, providing fresh visual approaches to each episode. Beyond the action, "Catch the Head" offers over two hours of dialogue that expands the lore of the underworld, revealing gossip, rumors, and romances among the contestants. This narrative depth is complemented by an original soundtrack featuring contributions from bands like Red-Line and Mobthrow, along with jazz pieces sung by Emily Coy, creating a compelling audio backdrop to your adventures.
