Champion Shift is an action-packed roguelike set in a world threatened by the Dominion, a shadowy corporation bent on global domination. Players take on the role of legendary Champions—heroes like Sir Arthur, Sun Wukong, Athena, and Gilgamesh—who have been captured by the Dominion but manage to break free. As these champions fight to reclaim their mythical powers and thwart the Dominion’s plans, they traverse branching stages filled with relentless enemy hordes and challenging boss encounters. The story unfolds through each run, with players uncovering new abilities and upgrades that shape their path toward the Dominion’s central headquarters, where a mysterious final boss awaits. Gameplay in Champion Shift revolves around a unique mechanic that allows players to shift between their Champion form and a powerful vehicle form, each offering distinct playstyles and strategic opportunities. Combat features simple controls with default auto-attacks, while also allowing manual aiming for those who prefer more precision. With hundreds of abilities and upgrades to discover, every run offers a fresh experience, encouraging experimentation and adaptation. Players can embark on solo missions or team up with up to three others in online co-op to tackle the increasing difficulty. As they progress, Champions earn Tech Caches and Heroic Gifts that enhance their strengths and unlock new tactics.
