Children of Zodiarcs is a tactical RPG set in the fantasy world of Lumus, a realm sharply divided between wealth and poverty. Players follow Nahmi and her group of outcasts—professional thieves on a desperate quest to steal an ancient relic from a corrupt noble’s estate. As they navigate the glittering city and its dangerous underbelly, they must evade city guards, rival gangs, and even savage cannibalistic families. The story explores themes of survival and betrayal in a society where the powerful exploit the vulnerable, challenging players to guide their ragtag team through a harsh and unforgiving world where no one escapes unscathed. The game’s combat system blends deck-building with dice mechanics to create a unique strategic experience. Each character wields a customizable deck of combat cards representing their attacks and abilities, which players draw from during battle to adapt to ever-changing situations. Dice rolls add an element of chance, but players can craft and modify dice to influence outcomes and re-roll up to two dice each turn, balancing luck with strategy.
