Game Overview
Corner Shop: NightShift is a first-person narrative horror simulation set within the confines of a struggling convenience store. You take on the role of Adam Callahan, a man grappling with a fractured life after losing his wife and daughter. Working the night shift, Adam tries to rebuild himself while confronting a series of unsettling events that blur the line between reality and paranoia. Throughout the game, players navigate a tense atmosphere filled with blackouts, alarms, and mysterious customers, piecing together a haunting puzzle that reflects Adam’s inner turmoil. The story mode offers approximately 15 hours of gameplay, featuring multiple endings shaped by the player’s decisions, creating a personalized experience that explores themes of loss, stress, and resilience. Gameplay centers on managing the day-to-day operations of the store, including stocking shelves, cleaning, handling deliveries, scanning items, and serving a variety of snacks and meals. Beyond the routine tasks, players must balance the store’s needs with Adam’s mental state, purchasing medications and upgrading security measures such as cameras and stronger locks to fend off mounting threats. An endless mode provides an open-ended challenge focused on growing and maintaining the store while enduring ongoing horror elements. Additionally, a streamer mode integrates with Twitch, allowing viewers to influence the game by triggering customer appearances and eerie events, adding a dynamic layer to the experience. Corner Shop: NightShift blends management mechanics with psychological horror, creating a unique and immersive narrative-driven experience that tests both your strategic skills and emotional endurance.
