Game Overview
Corpse Party: Blood Drive continues the harrowing tale of Kisaragi Academy’s Class 2-9, whose members are still haunted by their terrifying experience within the otherworldly elementary school known as Heavenly Host. While some students managed to return, many were lost, and the survivors grapple with the trauma and memories of those who perished. Central to the story is the Book of Shadows, a mysterious ancient tome that class president Ayumi Shinozaki once tried to use to bring her friends back to life—an attempt that only deepened the tragedy. When new evidence suggests the book might still exist within the ruins of Heavenly Host, Ayumi becomes determined to find it and make one final effort to undo the horrors they endured. The game picks up two months after its predecessor, Corpse Party: Book of Shadows, delivering a chilling and conclusive chapter to the Heavenly Host saga. In terms of gameplay, Corpse Party: Blood Drive introduces a full HD presentation with richly detailed 3D environments, allowing players to explore the eerie halls of Heavenly Host through dynamic lighting and an in-game flashlight, enhancing the atmospheric horror. The game retains key features such as full Japanese voiceovers and binaural 3D audio to deepen immersion, while introducing new mechanics like running from threats, disarming traps, and hiding from pursuers to offer more interactive and tense encounters. With a substantial narrative spanning 11 main chapters and 8 additional extras, the game provides a comprehensive and gripping conclusion, packed with unexpected twists and answers that bring closure to this dark and unsettling story.
