Game Overview
Cursed to Golf places you in the shoes of The Cursed Golfer, a player trapped in a mysterious realm known as Golf Purgatory after a freak accident derails your winning shot in an international tournament. To escape this eerie afterlife and claim the trophy you were so close to winning, you must navigate a series of challenging and imaginative golf courses. Each course is overseen by a spectral Legendary Caddie who guides you through the mystical nuances of the game, helping you master the unique blend of golf and roguelike elements that define this experience. The world of Golf Purgatory is filled with more than just sand traps and water hazards; expect to face a variety of unusual obstacles such as high-powered fans, spikes, teleporters, and TNT boxes that add a fresh twist to traditional golf gameplay. Progression in Cursed to Golf hinges on careful shot management—you need to complete holes within the PAR Count or risk being sent back to the start of the course. Along the way, special pickups like gold and silver Shot Idols help replenish your shots, while over 20 different Ace Cards grant you powerful abilities to manipulate the game, from extra attempts to strategic ball maneuvers. The game unfolds across four diverse biomes with more than 70 holes, each randomly ordered to keep the challenge unpredictable. With precise, tactical gameplay, a quirky golf-themed world, and online leaderboards to test your skills against others, Cursed to Golf offers a unique and engaging twist on both golf and roguelike genres.
