By day, you meticulously design and expand your mansion’s layout, strategically placing rooms and defenses to protect your core—the Heart room—and to confuse and terrify intruders. When night falls, you unleash your dark powers using a unique deck of haunting cards, summoning spirits, creaking floors, and other eerie phenomena to manipulate the environment and prey on your victims’ fears. Gameplay centers around managing the mansion’s design and using your deck to build tension, gradually driving human visitors toward madness. As their sanity breaks, you harvest their essence to strengthen your domain, unlocking new cards and rooms that enhance your haunting abilities and attract increasingly challenging intruders, including law enforcement and priests. The evolving threats add a layer of strategic depth, pushing you to balance offense and defense while expanding your influence.
