Players explore Monoth’s three distinct biomes—Pavonia, a lush and fertile land guarded by the mythical Highness; Gizmopolis, a bustling mechanical city filled with ever-shifting contraptions; and Astrono, a mystical coastal region shaped by celestial forces. Each area offers unique environments to traverse, from towering mountains and sprawling farmlands to gravity-defying landscapes and glimmering pools of magical “Moon Juice.” Along the way, players encounter a colorful cast of characters, solve puzzles, and unlock new abilities such as swinging, swimming, and gliding, which open up fresh paths and secrets within the seamless world. The gameplay blends classic side-scrolling platform action with modern twists, supporting both solo play and cooperative multiplayer for up to four players locally. Each character brings their own personality and special multiplayer moves, like Rope Drop and Leap Frog, adding strategic depth and fun interactions. Progression involves collecting items like Mickey Memorabilia and Tokuns—cards that reveal Monoth’s rich backstory—and earning upgrades through activities such as the Cave Adventuring Scavenger Hunt. The game also features over 30 minutes of fully animated cutscenes with authentic Disney voices, accompanied by an original orchestral score from BAFTA-nominated composer David Housden.
