Game Overview
DragonSword: Awakening invites players into the vibrant fantasy continent of Orbis, a world rendered in rich, anime-inspired visuals powered by Unreal Engine 5. You follow Lute, a young boy traveling toward Orbis’s first kingdom, who unexpectedly becomes entwined with Johnny, a seasoned mercenary, and Castella, an enigmatic Elf. Together, they navigate a sprawling open world filled with lush meadows, hidden caves, underwater treasures, and ancient dungeons. Alongside trusted companions and collectible Familiars, players explore diverse environments, engage in everyday activities like cooking and helping villagers, and gradually uncover the continent’s deep lore and the personal stories of its inhabitants. The game’s combat system centers on dynamic tag-team battles that emphasize status ailments and combo chaining. Each of the 19 playable heroes wields unique abilities that inflict and build up various status effects, which can be strategically combined with Signal Skills to unleash powerful, stylish attacks. Players can flexibly switch between heroes mid-combat to create endless combo possibilities, encouraging experimentation and team-building. The narrative unfolds against the backdrop of a legendary dragon’s return, threatening the peace restored 60 years ago by six heroic figures. As Lute and his allies follow in the footsteps of these heroes, they face difficult choices that will determine whether they become the saviors known as the Dragon Sword or carve out a different destiny. DragonSword: Awakening blends exploration, rich storytelling, and fast-paced combat into a compelling adventure for fans of action RPGs.
