Game Overview
Earth vs Mars is a turn-based strategy game set against the backdrop of a desperate battle for Earth’s survival. For decades, Martians have been abducting animals and humans, merging their atomic essence to create bizarre hybrid creatures. Now, with an all-out invasion underway, players take command of Earth’s military forces to fend off high-tech alien saucers, gravity-defying tanks, and elite Martian warriors. A central gameplay mechanic is the “Splice-O-Tron,” a device that allows players to combine human volunteers with Earth’s wildlife, forging powerful hybrid supersoldiers like cheetah-flies, rhino-human brutes, and squirrel-cow infantry. These unique units add a creative and strategic layer to combat, enabling diverse tactics across a campaign of over 30 carefully designed missions. As the conflict intensifies, players unlock new creatures, unit upgrades, and commander abilities, while facing increasingly dangerous foes, including the terrifying sentient weapon known as “The Creep” and other mutant Martian creations. Beyond the single-player campaign, Earth vs Mars offers multiplayer battles where players can choose to command either Earth’s defenders or the invading Martian forces, as well as customizable maps and challenge modes that extend replayability. The game features a fully voiced narrative and vibrant 3D visuals that bring its strange hybrid units and alien environments to life. Developed by a small team at Relic Labs, Earth vs Mars blends classic strategy influences with fresh, experimental mechanics, delivering an inventive and engaging experience for fans of tactical warfare.
