The arrival of Charlemagne, a charismatic yet melancholic knight, signals a new chapter in this ongoing conflict. Players join Charlemagne alongside a diverse cast of characters, including the playful Astolfo, the theatrical Emperor Nero, the cunning Tamamo no Mae, and the sharp-witted Robin Hood, as they fight to protect humanity’s future. The game builds on the fast-paced, hack-and-slash action of its predecessor, emphasizing fluid combos and intense combat sequences.
