Fate/Samurai Remnant is an action RPG set in the vibrant city of Edo during a mystical event known as the Waxing Moon Ritual, where seven Masters summon their legendary Heroic Spirits, called Servants, to battle for the power to have any wish granted. Players take on the role of one such Master, navigating the intricately recreated districts of Edo—such as Yoshiwara, Kanda, and Akasaka—where they explore bustling streets, engage with locals, and uncover secrets that aid their growth. The game weaves exploration, combat, and story elements together, offering a rich experience that goes beyond simple battles. Combat revolves around the dynamic relationship between the Master and their Servant, both of whom are controlled during encounters. Players must strategically use a variety of attacks and assess enemy tactics to gain the upper hand. Throughout the city, players may cross paths with Rogue Servants—powerful entities not bound to any Master—who can become allies after building a strong bond, allowing players to fight alongside or even directly control them in combat. This layered progression system encourages deep interaction and tactical flexibility, as players balance exploration, relationship-building, and intense battles. With supervision from notable creators Kinoko Nasu and TYPE-MOON, and character designs by Rei Wataru, Fate/Samurai Remnant combines rich storytelling with immersive action in a historical yet fantastical setting.
