Players can explore a large open map covering 200 by 300 kilometers, featuring six realistic ports and a dynamic environment influenced by seasonal changes and weather patterns such as rain, snow, and shifting winds. The game’s advanced weather system and volumetric cloud effects add a layer of immersion, while realistic fish behavior driven by AI requires strategic use of GPS and sonar to track schools of fish throughout the year. The gameplay centers around mastering a variety of fishing methods, including harpooning for swordfish and tuna, setting deep lines, lobster pots, crabbing, longlining, net fishing, and trawling. Players start with smaller vessels and basic gear, gradually progressing to larger boats and more advanced equipment purchased from licensed industry partners.
