The atmosphere is tense and immersive, with support for both traditional PC gameplay and VR, enhancing the experience through haptic feedback and positional voice chat. As you delve deeper into these cryptic ruins, your goal is to identify and confront the unique Mejai mummies that guard the tombs, each possessing distinct abilities that require careful strategy to overcome. Players must balance the lure of valuable treasure against the risks of confronting malevolent forces, with the option to attempt a ritual to banish the curse at the tomb’s lowest levels. Death introduces a compelling twist: you can return as a servant of the Mejai, choosing whether to aid your former allies or embrace your new dark allegiance.
