Fortified is a dynamic strategy shooter set in an alternate 1950s where Earth faces a relentless invasion from Martian forces. Players step into the shoes of one of four distinctive heroes, each inspired by classic pulp fiction archetypes—from a jetpack-equipped heroine to a battle-hardened Marine captain—as they combat relentless waves of towering robotic enemies. Blending third-person shooting with real-time strategy and tower defense elements, the game challenges players to not only engage in fast-paced combat but also to construct and manage an intricate network of defensive structures to protect their city from the advancing mechanical menace.
