Griftlands is a deck-building roguelike set in the gritty, fractured sci-fi world of Havaria, where survival depends on both sharp wits and strategic combat. Each character’s story unfolds in different regions of Havaria, introducing varied maps, factions, and challenges to explore. Gameplay in Griftlands revolves around building and managing two decks simultaneously: one for combat encounters and another for negotiations. Players must carefully balance offensive and diplomatic tactics, using cards to outwit opponents or overpower them in battle. Along the way, you can recruit mercenaries, acquire pets, and gather powerful item cards from defeated foes to enhance your decks.
