Set within a meticulously reconstructed digital version of the Große Schauspielhaus, players explore the grand architecture and innovative design of this historic venue, originally crafted by impresario Max Reinhardt and architect Hans Poelzig in 1919. The game unfolds through the perspectives of three distinct protagonists: Walter Schatz, a first-time visitor who guides players through the stunning foyers and vast auditorium; Fritzi Massary, a celebrated singer who reveals the glamorous life of a star; and Otto Kempowski, a young lighting technician who introduces the intricacies of theatre engineering. Together, their stories paint a vivid picture of the theatre’s cultural significance and technical marvels. Gameplay focuses on exploration and narrative discovery, allowing players to navigate the impressive spaces while uncovering authentic historical artifacts, including posters, props, and technical equipment sourced from Berlin’s Stadtmuseum and other archives. These elements enrich the experience, providing context and depth to the setting.
