Game Overview
Happy Lab places you in the shoes of a new intern at a cutting-edge scientific research facility, where your main task is to train and assist an advanced AI named Aurora. Set within a mysterious laboratory dedicated to robotic experiments, the game offers a blend of puzzle-solving, strategic trap placement, and action as you navigate through a story-driven campaign. Throughout the three acts, you’ll explore the lab’s eerie environment, uncover hidden secrets, and engage with a variety of physics-based challenges that test your problem-solving skills and creativity. Along the way, you’ll interact with numerous tools and weapons, from quirky explosive tennis ball launchers to futuristic pulse traps, each designed to help you perfect your experiments and defend against threats. Progression in Happy Lab is tied to both your ability to upgrade traps and weapons and the success you achieve during tests, which in turn increases your in-game budget. The game encourages experimentation, whether by setting classic mines and spikes or by utilizing portals and other advanced technology to manipulate the environment. Beyond the main story, a sandbox mode allows players to unleash their creativity, constructing elaborate setups and facing off against challenging boss encounters that demand strategic thinking and resilience. With its unique blend of humor, strategy, and atmospheric storytelling, Happy Lab offers an engaging experience for those who enjoy combining science fiction themes with inventive gameplay.
