Game Overview
HumanitZ is an isometric, open-world survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by aggressive zombie-like creatures known as zeeks. After a devastating outbreak wiped out much of civilization, humanity has become an endangered species struggling to reclaim its place at the top of the food chain. Players find themselves navigating a harsh and unpredictable environment that ranges from sprawling urban ruins to untamed wilderness, where danger lurks around every corner—from ravenous hordes and infected wildlife to hostile survivor factions. Scavenging for supplies in abandoned cities or opting for a quieter life off the grid by hunting, fishing, and farming are just some of the ways to survive. Vehicles play a crucial role, enabling faster travel, resource transport, and access to remote areas, while trading or battling other survivors adds further layers of challenge and opportunity. The game features deep character customization through a skill tree, professions, and afflictions, allowing players to tailor their survivor’s abilities and playstyle. A robust crafting and building system lets you create weapons, gear, vehicles, and fortified bases to withstand the relentless threats of the world. Whether playing solo, cooperatively, or in online PvE and PvP modes, players must manage hunger, exposure, and dynamic weather conditions while facing off against various zeek variants, some far more dangerous than the typical slow-moving undead. For those seeking an even greater challenge, permadeath mode is available. Ultimately, survival in HumanitZ demands constant adaptation and resourcefulness—how long can you endure the unforgiving apocalypse?
