Set in the vibrant world of Gamindustri, *Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1* follows the story of Neptune, one of four goddesses known as CPUs who once clashed in the War of the Guardians for control of the realm. After being defeated and cast out from the heavens, Neptune loses her memories but soon discovers a mysterious book containing the history of Gamindustri. Accompanied by her friends Compa, IF, and the sentient book Histoire, she embarks on a journey across four distinct nations to restore balance and save the world. This JRPG blends colorful, anime-inspired visuals with turn-based combat that allows players to field up to three characters at once, with an additional three in reserve for support or strategic swaps during battle. Players can unleash powerful combo attacks and tailor their experience using the “Plans” system, which lets them adjust enemy difficulty, dungeon rewards, and more to suit their playstyle. Crafting also plays a key role, enabling the creation of unique equipment imbued with special abilities to strengthen the party. Originally a console exclusive, this HD remaster brings the series’ quirky charm and dynamic gameplay to PC for the first time, complete with an option to experience the game in Japanese audio.
