Junkster

Junkster is a vibrant 3D action platformer set on a hazardous junkyard planet where an intergalactic cargo ship has crash-landed. Players take on the role of UM-13, or simply UM, a resourceful little construction robot tasked with salvaging valuable human artifacts while repairing his damaged ship. Armed with a trusty robo-wrench, UM must navigate treacherous environments filled with hostile trash mutants and rogue robots, turning heaps of discarded scrap into useful tools and platforms to progress through the game’s challenges. The game’s distinctive visual style pays homage to the bold, colorful aesthetics of 1980s American comic books, giving each level the feel of an action-packed graphic novel. As players advance, they collect and repurpose junk, using a unique building mechanic to craft functional objects that aid in exploration and combat. This combination of platforming, combat, and creative construction creates a dynamic gameplay experience that rewards ingenuity and quick reflexes. Junkster also offers a narrative-driven progression, with each stage unfolding like a new “issue” in UM’s adventurous saga, complete with collectibles and surprises that enrich the story and world.
