Whether you prefer to tackle the threat solo or team up with up to three friends in online co-op, the game offers a mix of frantic action and humor as you blast through a story campaign set across seven diverse worlds. From a creepy manor and a Wild West town to cyberspace and even a fiery Spider Hell, each environment presents unique challenges and a variety of spider foes to exterminate. Along the way, you’ll unlock and craft an impressive arsenal of 45 weapons and gadgets, ranging from newspapers and flamethrowers to rocket launchers and laser swords, giving you plenty of creative ways to squash the eight-legged menace. Beyond the campaign, KILL IT WITH FIRE! 2 features over 60 entertaining challenges that keep the gameplay fresh and unpredictable. Players can also dive into the chaotic multiplayer mode Spider Hunt, where up to eight players face off in a Humans vs. Spiders showdown, with some players controlling the arachnids themselves. The game’s quirky, slapstick story is penned by Miles Luna, known for his work on RWBY and Red vs. Blue, adding a playful tone to the action. With more than 20 hours of content and a wide variety of gameplay elements—including brewing potions, kaiju-sized destruction, and drone racing—this sequel blends humor, frantic combat, and imaginative settings into a lively and memorable spider-squashing adventure.
