Kitsune Tails invites players to step into the paws of a young female kitsune, a fox-eared messenger serving the deity Inari, as she embarks on an epic journey that begins with delivering her very first message. Set in a beautifully crafted world inspired by Japanese mythology, the game blends classic platforming action with a rich narrative that explores complex relationships and emotional conflicts. Along the way, players will encounter a kindly sorceress who becomes a romantic interest, as well as a childhood friend turned antagonist whose jealousy leads to a dramatic betrayal, trapping the sorceress in an elemental prison. The gameplay itself revolves around navigating five distinct elemental worlds filled with haunted houses and diverse enemies.
