Game Overview
Krampus Kills is a horror shooter set in the snowy town of Oakville, where 10-year-old Finley eagerly awaits Santa Claus on Christmas Eve, unaware that the sinister demon Krampus has come to claim his soul. Drawing from the dark folklore of this ancient underworld creature, the game weaves a chilling narrative that unfolds across multiple locations—from the claustrophobic corridors of Finley’s sprawling New England home to the eerie sewers below and the sprawling haunted forest surrounding the town. Players must navigate tense encounters with Krampus’s demonic minions, including undead elves and icy snowmen, while uncovering lore-rich scrolls that deepen the mythos behind the relentless pursuer. The gameplay centers on a mix of stealth, puzzle-solving, and intense combat, with a double-barrel shotgun as the primary weapon to fend off increasingly aggressive enemies. Krampus himself stalks the player in a manner reminiscent of classic horror “pursuer” games, creating a constant sense of dread and urgency. Beyond the main story, which offers about two to three hours of playtime, Krampus Kills features several additional modes that extend its replay value. After completing the game, players can unlock Nightmare Mode, introducing new enemy placements and a secret ending, as well as Survival Mode, where waves of monsters test endurance and skill. A Hide and Seek mode is also available from the start, challenging players to stealthily destroy enchanted grandfather clocks while evading Krampus in a randomized open forest setting. The game supports multiple difficulty levels, including a hidden dynamic mode that adapts to player performance, along with achievements, leaderboards, and unlockable cheats. With full controller support, 4K textures, and scalable graphics settings designed to run smoothly across a range of PCs, Krampus Kills combines festive horror with fast-paced gameplay and a darkly humorous edge that encourages sharing and streaming among fans.
