Layers of Fear provides a dark narrative of tragedy and selfish human behavior that pulls you into a downward spiral centered on the grim perspective of obsession. Playing as an unnamed painter resolute in completing what is described as his magnum opus, you enter your dreary manor eager to put oil on canvas. As you make your way from room to room in search of keys to unlock the door that leads into your small studio, it’s clear that this home is nothing more than a showcase for past regrets and painful memories. Overall this game is really scary and is definitely worth trying!
