From Himitsu, the caring childhood friend whose feelings may run deeper than friendship, to Catherine, an ex-girlfriend with a complicated history who unexpectedly returns to Nikolai’s life, the characters offer a varied emotional landscape. Ellie, the confident granddaughter of a school trustee, hides a rebellious streak beneath her polished exterior, while Kagome, the class representative, presents a more enigmatic and misunderstood presence.
