LUNAR 2 introduces the Crest System, allowing characters to gain powerful enhancements and magical abilities through crest combinations, adding depth to character progression. This remastered edition enhances the experience with updated widescreen graphics, fully voiced and animated cutscenes, and improved audio, while offering quality-of-life features such as adjustable battle speeds and streamlined inventory management. Players can switch between the modern remastered presentation or a classic mode that preserves the original 4:3 visuals, iconic cutscenes, and nostalgic CRT filter effects.
